Opaskwayak Educational Authority

Opaskwayak Educational Authority provides a well balanced, quality, PreK - Grade12 Education, in both of its schools. Students from PreK (Nursery) to Grade 6 attend Joe A Ross School. Students from Grade 7 - 12 attend Oscar Lathlin Collegiate. Both schools are located on Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN).

We also provide support for Post Secondary students.

Joe A. Ross School's education program highlights the following:

both Cree Immersion and English education from PreK to grade 5;

high Elder involvement and participation in classrooms;
