Cree Language Program

Our children need to feel confident in their identity. Language is an important part of that identity. To understand who we are, and to understand the traditional teachings, our students need to speak the Cree language.

The Cree language has been integrated into our curriculum for many years. Drawing on our years of experience and success, our staff is currently restructuring the language programs in our K-12 program.

It is our goal to continue to maintain a well balanced K-12 education which will be the equivalent to, or better than education levels that could be obtained anywhere in the Province. We also intend to graduate students who are also fluent in the Cree language.
