8 Full Time Term Educational Assistant- 2022-2023 School Year

Summary:

To provide support to school children, and assist teachers with teaching and non-instructional tasks.  The Educational Assistant(s) will assist in personal care, teaching and behaviour management under the supervison of teachers or other child care professionals.

1 Full Time Community Training Developer

Summary:

The Community Training Developer will plan, seek and implement professional growth opportunities in high demand occupation areas for Opaskwayak Education Services Inc. and Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

  • Minimum Diploma; Preferred degree in accredited Post-Secondary Institute in the field of business, education and/ or social work;
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience or in a similar role.

 

2 Full Time Term Client Intake and Assessment Workers- Employment and Training.

Summary:

The Client Intake and Assessment worker is to carry out client employment and training assessments by interviewing clients to obtain employment history, educational background, career goals and identifying any barriers to employment. 

  • Must possess a Certificate in Counselling Skills from a recognized post secondary institution;
  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

 

1 Full Time Term Accounting Technician- OES Administration

Summary:

The Accounting Technician is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical duties. 

o    Diploma in Business Administration; or equivalent experience.

o    Minimum 1 year certificate in accounting.
 

1 Full Time School Receptionist- Joe A. Ross School

Summary:

Provide receptionist and secretarial duties to the administration staff of Joe a. Ross School.

  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
  • certificate in office assistant or relevant years of experience;

1 Full Time Human Resource Manager– OES Admin

Summary:

The position will be responsible for management functions which include recruiting and staffing, performance evaluations, compensation and benefits, orientation, training and development, employee and labour relations, policy development and documentation, safety and health and human resource research. Enforce compliance to labour laws and regulations and acts as the key point of contact with government and other regulatory agencies.

 

–          Preferred a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or Business Administration/ Commerce

–          A diploma in Human Resource Management may be considered.

–          Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Management

1 Full Time Term Wellness Coach – Joe A. Ross School and Oscar Lathlin Collegiate

Summary:

The Wellness Coach will assist students living with special needs at Joe A. Ross School and Oscar Lathlin Collegiate in finding new ways to inspire healthier habits, through health & wellness physical activities.

 

–          One (1) year experience in Health, Wellness or Fitness Programming;

–          Experience with healthy eating habits, food preparation, and meal planning;

–          Lives a fit and healthy lifestyle (leading by example);
