Why a Career at OES?

Our schools, Joe A. Ross School, PreK to Grade 6, and Oscar Lathlin Collegiate, Grades 7-12 offer a highly supportive professional learning community dedicated to teacher and learner success.

Our staff and students have access to a wide range of inter-community resources (OCN and The Pas) creating a well-rounded learning experience.

These include:
Extensive, family-oriented, recreational programming & facilities
2 Fitness Centres
2 arenas
ski chalet & trails
Comprehensive health care facilities
Diverse retail outlets
Venues for fine dining & entertainment
Complete educational programming, including considerable (on and off campus) college and university offerings

A prime tourism area in Northern Manitoba, (just north of the 53rd Parallel), we have easy access to outdoor activities in any season. Fishing and hunting areas are excellent, as are opportunities for photography. Beautiful waterways allow for a variety of activities, both on one of the world’s few naturally blue lakes, Clearwater Lake, and the numerous other lakes in the area.

Opaskwayak Educational Services offers an excellent benefits package.
